A Message from Kate...
Hello again!
It’s time to update things and let you know what’s happening.
Family upheavals, health problems, house renovations have all taken my time and attention but now I can let you know about my new book . My 61st title for Harlequin — A Throne for The Taking — will be published in June 2013. And because Harlequin are now moving to simultaneous UK and USA publication, this book will be out in both Mills & Boon Modern and Harlequin Presents simultaneously. And yes — that is Harlequin Presents not Harlequin Extra. Harlequin Extra will no longer exist and the Presents titles will all come out in the same week from now on.
A Throne For The Taking is the story of a sexy, rebellious black sheep Prince (my own original title for it was The Black Sheep Prince). Alexei Sarova thought that he had left behind the restrictions and formality of the royal life, but now his old way of living has come back to enclose him and the person who brings him the news, along with some unexpected details is Honoria (Ria) the girl who once used to be his only friend. The two covers for A Throne For the Taking are very different. Take a look at them and see what you think.
A Throne For The Taking will be out on May 21st in Harlequin Presents in America and on June 7th in Mills & Boon Modern in the UK.

If you’re a would-be writer of romance then once again I’ll be running some courses and writing weekends over the next 12 months. Writers Holiday at Caerleon with the Complete Introduction to Writing Contemporary Romance will take place in July 2013 and will be followed by the Advanced Contemporary Romance course in Fishguard in February 2014. But after that things are going to change and the Writers Holiday event will move to Fishguard too with a different format- still with lots of great courses, but in a different format. So if you’re interested in joining one of my courses, keep an eye on the Events page to see what’s happening and be ready to get your booking in early as the courses fill up fast.
And of course now that life has quietened down a lot, I’ll be working on my next story and I’ll hope to have news about that to tell you next time .
